The move from GoDaddy to TLD Registrar Solutions is rather suspicious. The owner’s Yahoo! email is an indication it might have been compromised, and the domain might have been stolen. Under the circumstances, and without enough effort to locate the owner, he might eventually seek to recover the domain, if it left his possession unlawfully.

It’s hard to believe that a 3L .com registered in 1993 drops 24 years later without any effort by its owner to recover it. Unfortunately, it happened.

Personally, I would not want to risk getting a domain of this value on the drop versus the secondary market. But no doubt, it will go for thousands.
