Back on December 12, I wrote that a new website BrandBucket.org launched and they filed for a trademark with the USPTO.
Well now when you type in brandbucket.org you get a 403 error, this could be simply a hosting problem, or it could mean that Margot and her team reached out and shut things down quickly.
BrandBucket.com is the worldwide leader in the brandable boutique niche, it only makes sense they would defend their brand against anyone trying to use their name.
Looks like BrandBucket.com (Boxador) had a valid Trademark, but it was cancelled on June 3, 2016. I’m guessing this new registrant figured since they abandoned the mark, it must be ok to pursue “Brand Bucket” as a mark for themselves.
As far as Brand Bucket being the worldwide leader in brandable domains, I disagree. I think they have a nice platform, but I’ve seen better.
Can I ask you a question? Why did you delete my truthful comments about Brand Bucket? Are you financially motivated to only post favorable comments about Brand Bucket? You could have easily done your own research and seen that BB’s Trademark was cancelled. Is this how you run your blog?

As far as Brandable Boutiques, there is no bigger platform than BrandBucket. Brandroot and Namerific do not do the sales volume, no one has as many domains listed.

The .org version of Brandbucket will never get a TM with the clone website and idea, because they dont have a product. There is a false thinking that domains are the same as TMs and patents. They are not.
