BrandBucket September sales data saw 48 different sellers

November 9, 2016 by Raymond Hackney

BrandBucket

BrandBucket sent out their newsletter and gave info on September sales.

Our September sales remained strong with a slight uptick compared to August. We saw 48 different sellers make sales and, for 12 of our sellers, it was their first one!  After removing sales above $10K, the average sales price for a keyword brandable was $2790 and the average sales price of an invented brandable was $2571. It is also worth noting that 94% of September sales sold at their listed price!

The Top Searches chart looks a bit different than it has the last few months. ‘Consulting’ was the top search term with ‘Security’, ‘Art’, and ‘Marketing’ cracking the top 15.

bbseptembersales2The newsletter also addressed buying and selling BB names wholesale.

As we have watched the aftermarket of accepted and published BrandBucket names blossom, we have also seen more and more cases of buyers taking advantage of heavily discounted brandable names.  We believe in allowing our sellers to build their accounts in creative ways, and also reduce some inventory to get back some of the cost they’ve put in.  As such, only accounts in good standing (see your dashboard for more information) will be able to receive domains from other BrandBucket Sellers into their BrandBucket account.
