Any idea why someone would spend $20k on a domain and then let it expire several years later?

The person who owned the domain invented a liquid cigarette but then the explosion of electronic cigarettes happened and probably killed his concept. Product design is everything nowadays and this liquid cigarette doesn’t even come close to the cool factor of an electronic cigarette. I don’t think they are cool but I’m not the young buyer of these devices.

Guess who’s the high bidder? HipHop (Michael Berkens) 30 million dollars and he still bids on names. Pure Addiction!! 🙂

Domain had transferred registrars on June 12, 2015 and didn’t gain a new rear of registration at that time, which is odd. The December 9, 2015 expire date never changed prior or after the transfer according to whois records.

Yes, Berkens is still bidding all over the place, I can’t say if I banked $35M, plus millions in sales earlier, I would still be chasing domains at 60, give the young guys to make a few bucks

So much for Berkens not backordering domains anymore and semi-retiring.
