The forum has been dead for a while, no mods, no real activity, just a ghost town. Kind of good riddance, less chance of fraud due to lack of moderation.

      Good points Ryan.

Well in all fairness, I paid for a lifetime membership a while back.

That could be a messy class action suit if all members ever got on the same page

Hopefully DNForum will be relaunched under new ownership.

As a brand, it simply cannot recover while it’s associated with Adam Dicker. But there is no reason why it can’t be resuscitated and function as the useful site it used to be.

Even though NamePros has improved dramatically in the past year or so, it’s always better to have competition in any field. DNForum spurred NamePros to innovate, after all. Consumers (including domainers) want options.

Launching a new forum is an uphill battle. So it makes sense to revive DNForum, given its residual traffic, archived dscussions, and long list of members.

DNForum ought to survive 1 person’s mistakes.

Typical of Adam Dicker to not care about anyone else and just close the forum. We paid for a lifetime membership. I was in the middle of negotiations via PM on the forum and now I don’t have the person’s contact details.

Just great… I had a $1k deal going on, now I can’t get in touch with the buyer. Also, having been a member since 2003, I wouldn’t want all my posts to be gone just like that. Same goes for other long-timers, many great threads in the archives!

I also had a lifetime membership. But that only applies to the life of the company. What did Adam do that was so bad or tarnishing?

Also I have these I’m looking to sell…

All you need to do is put Adam Dicker in Google. First result – and many others

Maybe time for Rick Schwartz to retract his recommendation of Adam Dicker on Linkedin

DNFORUM was dying, somebody put it out of it’s misery, there were no moderators, you could do whatever you wanted.
