The action in numerics outside the normal conventions have been ramping up a bit. I have been noticing an uptick in 5N.net registrations, I wrote a piece on Namepros that touched upon this. It is also of note that a seller is providing inventory on NameJet in the thousands. One name I was in auction at NameJet 77077.net went for $201. Now that is not a lot of money but it is interesting to see another numeric group starting to pick up.
Names that start with 0 seem to be of little interest, each day names that drop are getting regged except for those starting with 0. There also has been a pick up in 6N.com and a post tonight on Namepros which I have not verified, let me be clear I have not checked 33,000 domain registrations. A member ZZZZ.us, posted that 33,000 6N.com domains were registered.
33,000+ NNNNNN.COMs was registered by Mr. Xie from Sep. 13 to 14. Many domainers from China are searching 6 digits coms and selecting those unregistered ones to register. It is almost a certain thing that all 6 digits coms will be registered before 2017.
There have been those dabbling in 7n.com where it seems all the great patterns are already taken. So like with everything when people can’t afford the super high premium stuff they move on to what they hope will be the next big play.
I jumped ahead and grabbed some ok-good 7N’s i was too slow for the 6N rush, sometimes a longer pattern is easier to remember than a random 6n
We’ve been watching the 6N.com market closely and in the last 30 – 60 days more than 500,000 domains have been registered.
The ONLY ones left for registration are undesirable combinations which include 4, 0 & 7.
I think you will see the prices on these at $500 – $1,000 within 12 months.
yeah jives with what I have been tracking and a Chinese forum wrote that all the 6N.com without a 4 or a 0 have been regged.
7 is not having a problem being registered hell even 5N.net are moving a bit 77077.net I was in auction on Namejet went to $201.
Raymond, your piece here is an eye opener, a word is enough for the wise.
