63 five letter .com names going at DomainFest Asia – 20001.com topping the list so far

September 8, 2015 by Raymond Hackney

5NDomains

There are 63 five number .coms up for auction at DomainFest Asia. With less than two days to go there are three names with bids above $1,000, two of those names start with an 8, the leader is 20001.com at $2,993. I think 11106.com will be one of the ones that moves the most with the triple number start.

Five numbers continue to do well, 85686.com recently closed at $1,126, 78221.com at $940 and 13712.com at $966. The domain 56568.com is closing on DropCatch today, already at $6,850.

Below are all 63 auctions and links to their auction page on 4.CN

I don’t do numerics, but just out of curiosity… all nnnnn.com domains sold out?

I think that reporting domain sales under $2,000 is just a waste of time.
If we start writing and reading posts about domain sales at the above price level: ($200, $300) we are just wasting a valuable time that we could spend doing something worth. I personally never talk about sales under $2,000 USD and I think that this LOW COST sales are a bad publicity for domainers and domaining. When I´m negociating a domain sale with and end user he (the buyer) always use these sales records to lowball me. In my opinion there should be an agreemet between domainers, brokers and marketplaces to NEVER disclose this LOW sales. (Just NOT worth)

That agreements never going to happen and most domain sales happen in the $2000 range Sedo puts out reports all the time so many domainers love the talk about the big sales some are talking out their ass at the end of the day most sales take place in that 1000 to 3000 range.

      Don’t believe the hype!
