Some nice names on NameJet today, spicytuna.com closed at $2,530, pokermate.com at $1,301 and officecleaner.com at $3,700 would be my top three.

In numerics 87177.com closed at $1,509 and 49933.com closed at $1,709 on NameJet. 8922.cc closed at $610 and 977772.com closed at $125 on Go Daddy, I think that one may be a good buy as the patterns in 6n.com are what matter, I am surprised that closed so cheap as I know some guys getting better prices offered for names that don’t have four of the same number. 05856.com closed at only $61 on 4.cn, that one of the cheaper 5N.com I have seen lately without a 4.

This trend of two letters and then a few numbers continued on Go Daddy with two domains closing over $2,000. hg7177.com $2,251 and hg820.com $2,176. I emailed someone who does a lot of business with Chinese domains and is in Asia figuring he would know the allure, he said it puzzled him too, that one possible explanation was the letters were equivalent to a postal code in China. I mean these names are always newer domains that were regged only 1 or 2 years ago.

There were also two 3character.com closes over four figures today.

Sedo reported no sales today.
