So if I register one do i have to give him $10 or get him a hooker ? Seeing some of the other idiotic threads on name pros what a fucking joke.

By the way, with regard to BoatLaunching.com, check out this genius:

I love Bannen’s Available Domain list! I have found many great buys from it.

    @ Commenter:
Kelly, it does not require you to pay anything. Bannen provides it for free.

You are confusing it with DomainTipSheet, which was launched on DomainSherpa. Those people created a thread on NamePros to provide the list as well.

Your generalization of “threads” is a joke. I don’t see you complaining about all the DomainSherpa videos that promote DomainTipSheet.

Kyle that’s what I was referring to not Bannen. You think $10 is cool ?

Hi Kelly, I’m not opposed to it. Honestly I used to spend 5 hours every day going through old drop lists seeing what’s available and buying domains that way. Even if I value my time at $5/hr, this process was costing me $25 every day and 5 hours of my time (most of my work day). I don’t mind paying to save myself the time.

I’m not sure how else someone would be motivated (for an extended period of time) to find these domains and provide them to us if they don’t receive some sort of compensation for their time. I think it’s fair.

I’ll chime in, there are plenty of people who provide quality available domains that don’t ask for payment, neither Bannen or Raymond have ever asked for let alone demanded payment.

To be truthful, the list I saw was not good at all. nothing worth my godaddy coupon.

Walter, I agree with you on that. Fortunately, it doesn’t cost anything unless we find something worth registering. It’s free to look.

I’d argue that more people will provide available lists if they could be compensated. Then we’d have a more diverse group of lists, and maybe at least 1 list that is a good fit for everyone’s tastes.

I really enjoy Shane’s list; he’s found a way to monetize it. Others need to do the same.
