Sometimes you get lucky, like Bruce Marler did with Credit.club and it was a registry snafu, and other times you get lucky where someone prices a domain way too cheaply.
On the Sedo report yesterday it was reported that ZFE.com sold for 1,999 Euros or $2,274. I thought this may be an IDN or they left off a letter but Carolyn got back to me this morning and said it was a legitimate LLL.com sale.
One of the first things that comes to mind, “If it seems to good to be true, then it is too good to be true” “It could be stolen.” Well it looks like from the research I have done the owner was German and held it for many years, they are in the photography business and probably know nothing about the LLL.com resale value. Someone probably recommended Sedo to them and they listed it. The buyer owns some nice names like Labyrinth.com, Bore.com and CranberryJuice.com.
Congrats to the buyer.
Still gold in them hills!!!
Wow !!! nothing else to say but Wow. Thanks for getting the scoop. That is the bargain we all search for day in and day out.
You think he’s really going to transfer the name? I wouldn’t that is clearly an error.
Name is already transferred from the German entity that owned for years (NON – DOMAINER) to the Aussie (DOMAINER)
Steal for the buyer. Simply WoW
Clearly an error. Here is a screenshot of the real asking price.

Sorry for the mixup Ray.
Its understandable Todd this is so cheap, I have driven Carolyn crazy going back and forth asking more questions, I asked about the new listing at Sedo, she has not answered that yet, But I think by the whois history research I did, I searched 8 domains he owns and all listed on Sedo with same meet the seller info. Australia 2010
Tulip.com sold recently for mega cheap, buyer got a heck of a deal! Another one in the running for best buy of 2015 🙂
