Strong day for Rightside (NAME) up 7.2 % on the day, the stock traded as high as $8.31 before closing at $8.12. The stock has been doing about 64,000 shares a day in January and today traded over 90,000.
Web.com (WWWW) was down almost 7% today to $14.75. The stock was down on heavy volume, about 4 times the average daily volume. The stock hit $14.52 intraday marking a new 52-Week low.
Google (GOOG) reported earnings that missed the mark, but the stock is up in after hours trading. Here is a snapshot of what Motley Fool had to say:
Google (NASDAQ: GOOG ) (NASDAQ: GOOGL ) just announced fourth-quarter 2014 results, and the search giant’s stock initially fell around 3% in after-hours trading.
On the surface Google’s performance seems strong: Quarterly consolidated revenue climbed 15%, to $18.1 billion, which translated to adjusted net income of $4.74 billion, or $6.88 per share. But analysts, on average, were looking for higher earnings of $7.12 per share on revenue of $18.47 billion.
