I am the seller of the VisitRome.com domain. Keep in mind that even when a Flippa domain is sold at a Buy It Now price, the transaction is not always complete. My buyer is paying me by wire and since he is outside and the USA and also it is a weekend, that might take a few days. He did email me a copy of the wire confirmation though.
I had sold this domain a few years ago for $37,000 (not on Flippa) but I gave financing to the buyer, and the buyer only made some of the payments and then decided they didn’t want want to complete the sale, so although $16,000 is a fair price, it is a letdown compared to what I had before.
