In a series that ICANN has put out talking to different registry owners, Frank Schilling discusses .link.
Interesting that Frank sees .link as a better .info with mass market appeal. He also wants to put it out at $3 to $5.
Link is the 21st most popular keyword on the Internet by domain count. Some .com related link domains include:
Frank says he sees incendiary demand as he travels around the world for the new gtlds. He does say it will require a learning curve.
You can view the .Link application from Uniregistry here.

If frankie say .link, I say relax, don’t do it! Face it, the tld is almost as bad as say, .tattoo. oh yeah. He sponsors that too.
A link is something you DO, not something you want as your tld.
fail.
What is a com? That doesn’t mean anything. In 20 years I could see some people preferring a .link to a .com
I would rather register .pw than .link or .tatoo
Wow, why? .pw is 2 consonants that doesn’t mean anything at all? If you like .pw maybe .xyz is a better alternative.
Here are some of the few “sensible” .link domains left that Uniregistry isn’t reserving and registrars where they are available to register (all Registrar URLs are .com unless otherwise stated):
ClimateChange.link (uniteddomians, enom, netim, 101domains)
EcoFriendly.link (sibernames, netim)
Environmentalist.link (uniteddomains, enom, netim, 101domains)
FairTrade.link (netim)
GreenBuilding.link (instra, name, sibername, united, enom, netim, 101domains)
GreenDesign.link (instra, sibername, united, enom, netim, 101domains)
Greenest.link (enom)
GreenLiving.link (101domain, onlydomains, sibername, united, enom, netim, 101domains)
GreenUp.link (enom)
OffGrid.link (netim)
TreeHugger.link (netim)
HowTo.link (onlydomains, sibernames, uniteddomains, enom, netim, gandi.net)
SiteDesign.link (enom, netim, 101domains)
TLD.link (instra, united, enom, netim, gandi.net)
If any are no longer available at the noted Registrars, then it’s likely someone in this forum was faster.
Wow, .link got over 20,000 registrations the first day! Impressive!
Eric some of those are premium names that entered the root. They will be sold by North Sound Domains.
