    Thanks for these sales stats.
    It amazes me that someone would pay 3 figures for such a poor trademark infringing Facebook domain (and a .net yet).
    I really do think that there should be more accountability on the registrar’s part in their sales of such domains. Safe harbor laws should not apply to auction sales because those listings could be easily vetted, particularly for well-known marks such as Facebook.
    These kinds of domains are not vetted because squat domains are profitable for the registrars. It’s just that simple.
