OrderFlowers.com looks to be the big story today on Go Daddy Auctions. The 15 year old domain is expired and already over $34,000. The auction ends at 4:20 p.m. Eastern time.
The bids have gone up steadily not one jump from $1,000 to $10,000. So far 13 different bidders have made over 100 bids.
The domain was parked many times over the years. In a screenshot from 2009 it looks like Pro Flowers owned the name.
Then it changed to the following:
Here is the link to the auction
I don’t think ProFlowers ever owned it seems like it was redirected to them in 2009 and then in 2011 it was a blog with a ProFlowers ad link and then it looks like it was an affiliate site Dec 2011 because there is no phone number. I can’t believe they would let this name expire because from its history you can clearly tell they the names worth. Its in privacy so who knows who actually owns it and maybe they never received the expiration email. I bet Bill Mclure is bidding on this one.
OrderFlowers.com bought by Eric Borgos of Impulse Communications.
The current owner ended up renewing OrderFlowers.com after I paid for it, so Godaddy is refunding me the money.
