Matt Cutts answers: “What are some misconceptions in the SEO industry?”

June 5, 2013 by Raymond Hackney

By: Raymond Hackney

Matt talks about the most common SEO misconceptions and points out that Panda actually lost Google money. He says Panda and Penguin are not about people buying more ads. Matt also discusses that you should know the difference between an algorithm change and just a data refresh instead.

Matt says people spend too much time on link building and not focused enough on compelling content.
