My first site in this business goes way back before there were any blogs besides Ron Jackson’s Dn Journal. I think Domain Name Wire was starting up at the same time back in 2005. 3Character.com was an idea born in a Namepros chatroom and went on to be a pretty popular site. Andrew Miller was an excellent partner to start the webite with and he continues to run the site.
I have always been a fan of LLL.com, the first one I purchased was Xef.com for $800 on the old Afternic back in late 2000. They continue to be a favorite so I put together a list of all the LLL.com that have sold so far this year that have been reported to DN Journal. I put them in alphabetical order since people like to focus on letter quality.
