924 LLL.co are expiring today on Go Daddy and each and every one has at least one bid. Most are the $10 back order bid. There are a couple with multiple bids. YGD.co is at $75 and leads the pack. Most of the 924 are the letter combinations that most domainers in English speaking countries do not favor. Most are still running for another couple hours if you are interested.

How can they all have bids, Juan Calle must be happy.
Looks like someone is preparing for the future. I own one 3 letter .co and a few 3 letter .me domains. This is a tell, tell sign that .co is here to stay. 🙂
Interesting.
Thanks for the heads up.
Dman,
Don’t you think it is a bit premature to say that .co is here to stay? I’m all for other extensions but I don’t think .co will command anywhere near .com. Your thoughts or Raymond what do you think?
I have the utmost respect for Jason, he said it was here to stay not Dman, and to be fair Dot Co is a sponsor of this blog. But I would never give a disingenuos opinion because of a sponsor. I like .co for certain keywords and I do think LLL and LL make sense and can be profitable. I don’t think .co will ever be close to .com that’s my opinion. I would also say an extension does not have to be .com to be successful. The key for domainers is can they acquire product cheap enough to make sense to carry ? Can they find a market to sell their product ?
.Co is certainly a flavor of choice in the start up world, but like The Eagles once wrote in New Kid in Town, “They will never forget you ’til somebody new comes along ”
There are a lot of new kids coming to the url space.
I looked, 95% of them were IMO not valuable domains, nearly ALL were parked pages on the .com-version (and .net and .org-version) of the LLL-CO-domains you are talking about. (lots of q and x’s)
So you can’t derive from this that the .CO-extension is not interesting anymore. These LLL’s were not interesting with .com .net and .org either. In the meantime I looked there at the +LLL’s, so words 2 wordsdomains. Not much interesting words either there for the moment. So no negative conclusion
The only conclusion that you can derive from this is that there exist people who register some crap words under .co, and drop them a year later, because they were not interesting to register in the 1st place.
The .com is not interesting ? well even with the x and q the owner can get a minimum of $3700, so that is interesting to me.
