First off we are happy to have been a week ahead of the financial press when we broke the story about Herbalife and their domain registrations geared toward hedge fund manage Bill Ackman. We wrote about the multi level marketing company taking issue with Ackman calling Herbalife a ponzi scheme. You can read that here.
Well yesterday someone registered TheRealCarlIcahn.com and TheRealDanielLoeb.com. Both names were registered at Register.com and under privacy. Carl Icahn and Daniel Loeb have taken the other side of the trade against Ackman and are long Herbalife.
Did Ackman register these ? No one will know until the sites are developed as I doubt the privacy will be removed.
Bill Ackman is a fighter.
He is not going to give up.
