Inc. Magazine wrote a very good article on tips for negotiating a big deal. The article gives
5 tips to help people make better decisions when negotiating. A lot of domainers frequently leave comments on blogs and forums that they just can't seem to get the big deal done. Either they push to fast or sell too low.
From the article:
1. Find the ceiling. There’s a dollar value that a big company
just won’t pay a start-up. Buyers compare your price to other related
products from bigger companies, and they won’t go higher than that. Your
first job is to find that price and set an anchor price right under it.
Some nice tips in there. I like the part about asking for intangibles.
Thank you for posting interesting content. One more blogger posts about .whatever I am just blocking them from my domaining.com feed.
