Two Celebrity .coms sell for $1500
Joe Jonas is most famously known as part of the Jonas Brothers along with brothers Nick and Kevin. He is lesser known for sharing a birthday with me. Well JoeJonas.com just sold on Sedo for $1500. The name which was dropped once was just registered in 2011.
Earlier in the week Sedo reported that Lukas Haas acquired his name in .com. The 36 year old actor has starred in such films as: Contraband, Inception and Red Riding Hood. LukasHaas.com also sold for $1500.
We have written before that celebrity domains are all over the place.
Ndamukong Suh got his domain through UDRP after the registrant got greedy.
Oliver Stone paid $6000 and autographed a script to the domainer who owned his name.
KateMiddleton.com was sold for $2350. Whois Private.
I have no idea if the $1500 price for a UDRP and these names selling for $1500 is anything more than coincidence, but in a Celebrity crazy world it may help influence a lot of negotiations on Celebrity domain names.
