Go Daddy Monthly Sales Report Led By TeachingJobs.com at $89,250

Go Daddy Monthly Auction Report – August 2012

Sales were off about 5.6 % for August vs July. Go Daddy sold 31,481 domains in August vs 33,373 in July.

The top sale for the month was TeachingJobs.com at $89,250. Go Daddy also adjusted their July report which had shown justwink.com at $65,000 as the top sale. Go Daddy has now added a new sale for July which tops the chart, TMG.com sold for $80,000.

    I wish Godaddy reported the total dollar amount of domain sales in addition to the number of domains sold. That would give a clearer indication of average sales price (though the average would be distorted by those high-dollar sales).

    Actually, $89k is a bargain for a premium job site name. But when I see two random words put together going for $65k (JustWink), that’s when I scratch my head.
