Go Daddy has three domains that will conclude over the next seven days with lofty valuations.
Today the domain GorillaServer.net closes and there are already 86 bids and the price is $2500. Go Daddy estimates 112,946 monthly hits, this of course is where the value is coming from. Go Daddy values the domain at $12,849. The domain is only two years old.
Here is a link to a forum that was discussing GorillaServer.net http://www.wjunction.com/86-webmasters-money-making/74307-how-join-gorillaserver-net.html

The $12,849 valuation for GorillaServer.net is peanuts compared to the $59,574 valuation for FacebookAm.com. Forget the obvious UDRP and the fact that Facebook has gone after many domains with their trademark, Go Daddy estimates 85,746 monthly hits. The name is two years old and up to $405 so far. How about a valuable .info domain ? Foundits.info is valued by Go Daddy at $16,380. Go Daddy estimates 27,430 monthly hits. Name has over six days left on the auction. Auction link
Now of course these valuations need to be taken with a lot of grains of salt. These valuations are dangerous for new people entering or thinking about entering the domain business. Go Daddy gets a lot of newbs and they need to have a better explanation of these valuations imo. The ? for valuation says: "Pay per click (PPC) average revenue for a domain over a period of time." What period ? What is the RPC ? $59,574 is a lot of clicks.
Obviously the Facebook name is a stay away name, GorillaServer.net did look to be doing some type of business and needs to be researched if you are going to bid on the name. Foundits.info is just plain weird. It has less traffic than the server name but higher valuation. Good luck if you bid on any of these domains.
