If you are using social media as another outlet to reach out to customers or find new ones, this look at the demographic make up of each social network may come in handy.

If you are looking to reach women you would be smart to put some effort into Pinterest where 82 % of the users are ladies.

Google + on the other hand is mostly populated by tech focused men. Men are around 71% of the users on Google +.
