Domain Investing Stats and Tips

The daily list 1/22/12

The daily list for 1/22/12

NameJet (Back orders must be placed by 11 pm Eastern time)

truckersinsurance.com  a lot of advertisers under the keyword on Google. 1997 registration. Taken net/org/info/us the .biz dropped.

Sfog.com 1998 registration, taken in all major extensions.

Mina.net 15 year old CVCV.net, spec play but sometimes you see the weekly sales report and one of these sell for $1,000 plus.

Go Daddy Auctions

CharityBingo.com 16 year old domain, bingo is very popular especially when being used for Charity. A lot of ways to go with this name if it does not go too high imo.

Go Daddy Closeouts

DemolitionTV.com (development) 9 year old domain so you got some age, 186,000 on Youtube. Curate some of the best videos, write some content and turn that $10 investment into $xx a month.

ChicagolandClubs.com (development) best for someone living in Chicago who knows the area, build a directory, monetize it.

SpanishGoddess.com (dev/spec) sounds like a nice brand name focusing on the Spanish market, beauty, cosmetics, maybe even fashion.

Hand Regs

Todays group are five letter pronounceable dot coms that are pure speculation, but could easily be flipped for a few dollars imo as comparable names get 5 backorders on NameJet at $69, handreg for $8 flip for $50 is not bad if you can do it consistently, only in domaining do people scoff at 6 times their money. On the flip side maybe some start up building an app or product wants the domain and you see a better flip.

The other group are Color/Animal these names seem to do well when they go to expiring auction.

Vetso.com passed radio test, no one should have problem spelling it.

DogVo.com Start a site about dogs and be active.

Pixfy.com A lot of picture apps out there, maybe its worth the $8 investment.

BrownAlligator.com

GreyFlamingo.com yes there are some that are Grey before turning Pink.

CrimsonWhale.com

GreyCougar.com double meaning ?

VioletLion.com

You must not really believe in the color animal to have passed on all those names at only $8. Great finds on those. I would have taken all of them but took violet lion and crimson whale because I got beat out by Eshops of the UK. Thank you. I always stay away from grey because of the gray grey thing.

I just had looked and I saw they took grey flamingo and brown alligator. Glad you got them Shane and best of luck with them. I know what you mean on Grey. I kept checking and it seemed Grey was more popular.

    Good point Shane.
    GrayCougar.com is not registered.
If someone did like GreyCougar.com, they could register both and solve that problem.
