I submitted ceramics.co and it was sold for $140 USD in this auction.
Now i would have figured its a premium name as ceramics surround us all, in all cultures , countries worldwide. Granted its not a dot com , but somehow , must be better than some dot co that sold at a higher price ? Cant help feeling bitterly disappointed at this and shouldn’t have entered this auction. Not happy.

    @ Peter,
It was a pretty good auction in terms of resellers. However, the problem was that there were too many names. 200 is WAY too many for an auction. 100 is the right number for an auction like this. Ceramics.co is worth quite a bit more than $140, even in reseller territory. It’s worth, IMO, $600-700 reseller. So unfortunately, someone out there got a deal. You can blame the Sedo format more than anything.

forget your .co, this TLD it’s not worth it. Delete / Close your 1.000 .co domains and buy one good .com or .net.
    Best regards

@ Peter: This is perhaps an indicator that dabbling in ccTLDs is unprofitable. My advice would be to get out of this extension ASAP. The sales listed above are pretty much as good as it gets in this extension. In my viewpoint, it will be all down here from this point forward for this extension.

    Peter,
Ceramics with 33k monthly searches would be great investment for some sort of company but for general web developer it’s worth nothing as there is only few things they cal sell there and CPC isn’t too high for AdSense website developers

You never know what can happen in an auction. In this case, I bet most of these domainers were bought by domainers, who will keep them for resale down the road. No huge upside surprises to be had this time.

It’s concern over auction results like the two domains below that I withheld higher quality dotCO domains from auction:
    Drapes ($100)
    Diswashers ($140)
    NOT submitted to auction:
    Saddle
    Sonoma
    Kennel
    Quinceanera
    AnaheimHotels
    AugmentedReality
Maybe if SEDO had aggressively marketing to end users, results might have been different.
