Four figure expiring auction results at Go Daddy 12/5 – 12/11 Headlined by IndianJewelry.com at $16,005

IndianJewelry.com was the big seller for the week of 12/5 to 12/11 at GoDaddy auctions.

The 14 year old domain had 116 bids and jumped $5000 at the end of the auction. It was a duel between bidder 3 and bidder 11.  The bidding jumped $1700 at first from $8500 to the $10,200 range and then bidder 11 jumped the $11,000 bid of bidder 3 to $16,000. Bidder 3 bid just $5 more and it was over. $16,005.

NepalTourismyear2011.com sold for $1305. Go Daddy estimated traffic of 1075 monthly hits and valued the domain at $366.

YourArtlinks.com sold for $2855. The 11 year old domain had 154 bids. Interestingly it had the same amount of traffic estimated by Go Daddy at 1075.

    They look like they were ‘available yesterday’ regs.

    Sincerely hope they were very popular existing sites with tons of traffic – cos keyword weighting alone, they’re crap.
    The buyers whoever they were, were had.
    IndianJewelry, while a good name, is way overpriced.
    Reminds me of the go-go years 2007-8 when Schillster & Ham-ster were duelling it out for some cray overpriced sh!t.
    Think about it – if one of the two final bidders wasn’t around the winning bid would have been a fraction of the final price.
