The movie 30 minutes or less, starring Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down) and Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) opens today.
The 50 commercials I saw on tv for the movie all had #30MOL. A Twitter hashtag instead of the domain 30minutesorless.com which the studio owns. Interesting to see if the Twitter hashtag will be promoted like the Facebook.com/companyname has.
I guess this is a good indication of where some in the movie industry feel it’s better to get interest brewing about a movie being released. I guess with twitter it’s more concise and readers are less likely to have their attention stolen.
