Godaddy Mobile app surpasses 500,000

January 21, 2011 by Raymond Hackney

Go Daddy’s Mobile App – the first ever to be provided by a domain name registrar – just surpassed 500,000 downloads. The Apple version of the app was recently selected as a Top 10 Free Application for Business by iTunes’ annual “Best Of” list, “Rewind 2010,” with a rating of more than four stars. The Go Daddy app is also available for Android and BlackBerry devices. New and existing customers alike can use the GoDaddy.com Mobile App to purchase and manage an array of Go Daddy products, check email, renew products and receive alerts about soon-to-expire products. The app also enables users to store and switch between multiple customer accounts, perform domain bulk searches, as well as store and review their search history. The app includes the ability to directly create a help ticket or call Go Daddy’s industry-best 24/7, U.S.-based customer support. “Go Daddy customers want to have total control over their domain names, whenever and wherever they are,” said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “The GoDaddy.com Mobile App helps ensure users have all the tools they need, right at their fingertips, so they’ll never miss out on registering a great domain name.” Like many other products offered by the world’s largest domain name registrar and top Web Hosting provider, the GoDaddy.com Mobile App was created as the result of customer requests in 2009. Go Daddy plans to expand its application in 2011 to include numerous Web hosting management tools as well. To learn more about the GoDaddy.com Mobile App, visit www.GoDaddy.com/Mobile.
