Claude Dauman – Writer
Claude Dauman has been an active member of the online community for almost 20 years, having launched his first online businesses in 1996. One of those businesses, an online apparel retailer, grew to become a leader in it’s field. Claude sold the apparel business in 2010.
Prior to launching his online business, Claude spent many years, starting from an early age, selling homes and apartment buildings, to the rich and famous, in Beverly Hills. In 1988, he invented a talking real estate sign, utilizing a small FM radio transmitter, which allowed prospective buyers to tune in, on their car radios, to get a
full rundown on the property.
Claude moved from real estate to Point of Purchase advertising, where he could better utilize his creativity and vision. Claude was responsible for the creation and roll outs of a number of very successful international in-store advertising programs. Claude’s negotiating skills, garnered during his years in high-end real estate and his in-store marketing savvy, have been instrumental in the success of his online ventures.
Since 2010, Claude has been focused on the domain name space. He has taken a keen interest in the .TV extension since the time that Verisign drastically adjusted their pricing model for .TV domain names (for the better).
Claude’s company manages a portfolio of over 1,000 premium domain names. Claude believes in a pricing model which makes many of the domain names attractive to investors, entrepreneurs and fledgling start-up companies alike.
Claude’s company also manages a growing number of websites including: Retailer.co, Glassware.tv, Electronics.tv, BeautySupplies.me and Reservations.cc.
