I always think it’s interesting to see how the market values a name in the same market environment when the same name expires year after year or every two years.
Today SouthDakota.net expired and closed at $2,650. Now last year it was allowed to expire before being renewed and closed for $1,000 less.
Each auction took place at GoDaddy auctions. I would imagine it will get renewed again. The domain name has been registered since 1998.
In comparison North Dakota has seen a .com and .net sale
northdakota.com | 33,000 USD | 2019-09-16 | Sedo |
northdakota.net | 7,010 USD | 2010-05-12 | Rick Latona Auctions |
