It looks like some investors not end users are paying big bucks for .xyz domain names. Swetha has certainly been the dominant seller of .xyz domain names. While looking at some recent sales to see if there was a website up, I came across a couple that look to have been purchased by an investor.
Farmyard.xyz sold for $7,000 back on 6/30/22 and Croissant.xyz sold for $14,888 back on 5/29/22.
These domain names are now parked at DAN under a different account. I think those are some big prices to pay with the hope to resell for a higher price.
In the past when I have checked these sales they were end users mostly in the blockchain and the Web3/crypto space. Names like Momentum.xyz.
What about lottery.xyz that sold out 4 Million dollars!
