Happy New Year – No predictions

Happy New Year to all our readers and advertisers. I hope 2021 is a much better year than 2020.

2020 is a perfect example of why I never make predictions, one thing to remember is that some who are making predictions are going on the premise the consumer of that prediction is in the same boat.

I will give an example, someone who owns .ooo, .xyz and top domain names told me they read Shane Cultra saying 2021 will be a great year for domain owners. This made them excited for 2021.

I can’t and won’t speak for Shane, but I am willing to bet he meant those who own top tier, quality .com domain names. Not .ooo or any new gtld for that matter. I did suggest to this person that he post a comment over at DSAD just to confirm.

For those who own great domain names, just so long as the Internet is here, every year is a good year with the potential for great.

Many who don’t own great domain names need to figure out what is best for them in 2021.
