Namepros announced their parking product March 31 and some were excited and others thought oh whoopee another parked page provider. Some users kept peppering Namepros with more requests and more suggestions. Well it seems like Namepros is really taking this serious and over the last couple of months things are moving pretty fast.
To be honest, I think it’s impressive how fast they have moved. I say that when I consider there are companies that have been promising feature updates for at least 18 months and still nothing.
The domain investor economy is wide open right now, there is a need for more creativity, options and ingenuity. Namepros does have a chance to gain a lot of users if they continue innovating. If you spend time on X (formerly Twitter) many are seeking more options and Namepros is looking to be a serious player.
Here is where the roadmap started and where it’s going:
We’ve been adding so many features to NamePros Parking that we haven’t had time to compile a complete list of them all, but we’ll list some new features that we’ve released since April when we added buy-now prices, Escrow.com integration, PayPal support, etc.
In only a couple months, we’ve added support for:
- Traffic monitoring with Google Analytics: See real-time visitors and historical statistics about them, including demographics, referral sources, search engine queries, browsers, OS, etc.
- Minimum Offers: Save time by specifying a minimum offer amount to set buyers’ expectations.
- Remove NamePros Branding: An option to remove unnecessary mentions of NamePros from parked pages.
- More Landers: Choose from multiple landing pages for various purposes, such as a new Buy Now Optimized lander.
- Escrow.com Concierge: An option to use Domain Concierge Service for your Escrow.com transactions.
- Auto-Detected Buyer Details: View detailed information about your potential buyers alongside their inquiries, based on their IP address: their current time and timezone, location, ISP, hostname domain, connection type (e.g., Cable/DSL, Cellular, Corporate, or Satellite), etc.
- And so much more that we’ll have to cover in future help guides.
Also, the following features are complete or nearly complete and should be available this month:
- Payment Plans: Payment buttons for lease-to-own (LTO) and renting, e.g., “$295/mo for 8 months”
- File Imports: Add domains to your account and set their prices by uploading spreadsheet files (e.g., .CSV).
- Account notifications: Inquiry summaries and account notices about your parked domains, sent by email.
Soon, we’ll also have an option for seller portfolio pages to showcase all of your domains to end-users and a marketplace that buyers can search domains listed for sale on NamePros Parking.

This is great to see. I wasn’t really following along but this sounds exciting and I will be paying closer attention. Just in case it’s interesting, a feature I’ve hoped for on DAN that I think could be useful would be categories (DAN has categories internally but not exposed to the public). Being able to direct someone who types in one of my names, to other names in the same category would I think be a big plus, i.e. Someone lands on one of my ‘5 letter brandables’… click here for similar names (from the same seller). But what if sellers had the option to share their traffic (maybe even a very small affiliate commission or some other incentive) with other names in the same category across the platform?
