Looking at Thursday’s action LibertyOne.com stood out. The domain name was purchased in 2006 for $25,350 at Moniker.
The domain name was purchased by Liberty One Lending out of Arizona. They went out of business in 2009, so someone renewed the name for years.
In doing research I found a website that detailed the company closing. Needless to say many employees were not happy. Some left ominous threats in the comments.
The auction closed at $6,100 on GoDaddy auctions. The obvious end user buyer would be LibertyOne Credit Union. They operate at LibertyOneCU.com.
It’s a versatile name that can be used in a lot of different industries. So it will be interesting to see who purchased the name.
BusinessMe.com transacted publicly for the fourth time, it closed at $2,800 at Flippa. It just sold at NameJet in June for $558.
FastRides.com just sold for $2,500 last year at Sedo, it was left to expire and went for $353 on Thursday.
AlphaElements.com was sold just two years ago for $1,945, BuyDomains was the seller. It dropped and closed at $308.
Cvitae.com sold for $3,788 back in 2013 and went for just $190 on Thursday.
BuyDomains sold ScoreTrust.com for $1,500 in 2016 went for just $106 at GoDaddy auctions.
HempMonkey.com was once sold by FatCity Properties for $2,495 in 2017, it then dropped and went for $387 at DropCatch, it dropped again at DropCatch for just $264.
Money is made on the buy side, the person who got FallAsleepFaster.com for $132 made an excellent purchase in my opinion.
