When domains expire and go for a nice to very nice price, many often wonder what will happen with the domain? Some are skeptical that the name went too high and that something shady is going on. Others want to see what someone will do with them and when nothing is done people start yelling “BS!!!”
Last month a few names went for a nice price in expiry auctions, here is what they are up to in less than a month.
The name has moved from CSC Domains to NameStop LLC. There is a cool looking monkey logo and a holding page.
Siku.com closed at $64,500 on GoDaddy auctions. The domain name is now listed on a Chinese website for sale.
Hyw.com was an expired 3L.com that GoDaddy reaped the rewards on. That domain is now on a Chinese landing page for sale.
Khols.com The biggest close was Khols.com at $81,559, Back on March 29, the domain name Khols.com closed at $81,559 on NameJet. The domain name was lost in a UDRP previously, this was back in 2012. It is being used in a way that will probably lead to another UDRP.
