Domain Investing Stats and Tips

Looks like CryptoCart.com did not sell for $58,000

February 3, 2020 by Raymond Hackney

CryptoCart.com

Back in November I wrote about what looked like an incredible flip.

Cryptocart.com was reported sold for $58,178 on Sedo. This was a great flip for a 3 year hold. The name was bought on Sedo in 2016 for $3,500.

The domain was originally registered in 2011, a lady in the U.K. regged it for a year and let it drop. The domain was registered again back in 2013 by a lady in Ohio. Then in 2014 another person picked up the name offering it for sale. They look to have been the seller in 2016 for $3,500.

When I was doing the Sales and Trends report for January, I noticed CryptoCart.com sold for just $2,486.

You see rollbacks on GoDaddy but it’s odd for Sedo to have this kind of rollback after recorded sold by Sedo.

The domain name is now listed for sale at DAN.com.
