Well it looks like Examiner.com got renewed, the auction was over $131,000 and earlier today the name got renewed. While typing in Examiner.com I get a security warning.

So again people waste a few days bidding over $100,000 and the auction gets renewed.
GoDaddy needs to fix their auction policies and procedures. Like how are we verifying bidders over $10,000 let alone $100,000?
Why allow auctions to start if they can be renewed?
Silicon Valley Ted says
all you guys were Yapping about it no wonder it got renewed. look look its over 100k yap yap yap. the owner “NO SH1T IN RENEWING” then lets blame it on godaddy
Nether says
You bet people going to yap, expose godaddy and this industry for the joke it is, come on in congress because this place is a shit storm.
I am thrilled it got renewed. I don’t want godaddy making money off of someone else’s website.
CZ says
The blame that goes to Go Daddy is not on the owner renewing, it’s that there is the opportunity to renew after an auction starts. People in this business are dumb.

It’s called data collection to improve their appraisal process.
It’s called free marketing from those that hype.
Not likely to change any time soon.
