Daily Domain Picks 2-24-18
Go Daddy Auction Picks 2-24-18 Powered by ExpiredDomains.com
There are a lot of big time names today, probably out of the budget for a lot of domain investors.
2301.com an 18 year old expired 4N.com. Already over $24,000.
557.net another 18 year old domain name, $10,500.
A couple solid crypto names, AboutCrypto.com and CryptoFacts.com.
OEW.com 113 bids, $31,000, earlier in the week better combos like Yig.com and Duz.com couldn’t get $12,000 in a public auction, but this expired name has a ton of interst. Like Mark Thorpe said on Twitter, domainer’s don’t like to buy from another domainer.
I think there is more to it than that, people don’t know the reserve range on a public, it could be $100,000. They might not get delivery, etc…

I agree with Mark. Most domainers don’t like to buy from other domainers. I think they think that if a domain investor let his domain to expire it’s probably because he don’t see value in it but they assume that expired auctions belong to end-users. I don’t mind buying from other domain investors as long as I see value and I know that many of the expired auctions belong to domain investors not end-users which doesn’t make much difference to me.
I’m not active in forum anymore but I was aware of an auction on NamePros through your lists that I won for $10 in Nov, 2016. I sold it for $4,000 and it’s in escrow right now. I’ll report it once the transaction is completed.
The domains I let to expire I usually price it for $100 for over a year. I tried to sell some on forums with no success. Now, 90% ended up with $100 – $500+ winning bid on GoDaddy Auctions!
Typo. “doesn’t” not “don’t”.
