Central Nic (CNIC, London) did not trade but had some news, CentralNic Group PLC said Monday that it has sold a number of premium domain names for USD2.5 million, and confirmed its profit for 2014 will meet market expectations. CentralNic noted that the release of new top level domains has been slower than expected due to a number of factors. Whilst demand for the new domains is strong, CentralNic said, it is “still at a less mature stage than the board had anticipated.
Tucows (TCX) was up 2.4 % on the day.
