So I had a consulting client say that he thought he might like to advertise on a domain forum. I sent him the links to the media kit for Namepros and DnForum.com.
He emailed me back and said, "Which one is the largerst ?,they both claim to be the largest.
When you click advertise on Namepros you get:

When you click Dn Forum you get:
Dnforum.com is the largest professional Domain Community discussion
forum on the internet. Launched in 2001, Dnforum.com contains over
1,400,000 posts and over 75,000 active registered members making it the
leader in domain discussion boards. Dnforum.com is built on a

Dnforum.com contains a wealth of domain related information and feedback
for those seeking information on general domain questions. Dnforum
receives approximately 80 million hits a month, an average of 2.4
million hits a day
By sheer posts then Namepros is larger, now DNF uses the distinction "largest Professional Domain Community"
I told the client they were both excellent forums but the price was more than he wanted to pay, the 728 x 90 at the top of each site was certainly priced as if DNF was the largest.
DNF price for that ad placement is $7000 monthly
Namepros for the same ad placement is $3000 monthly
The client felt that both were too expensive for his budget and decided not to advertise.
