This week Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks has become an overnight sensation. The undrafted player with a degree from Harvard got his chance to start at point guard for an injury depleted Knicks basketball team.
Lin has set an NBA record with most points scored by any player in their first three games starting in their career. Lin put up 38 in a 92 – 85 win over Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. Lin even outscored Bryant 38 to 34.
A popular phrase being used in Madison Square Garden is "Linsanity" This has been used to describe the frenzy over Mr. Lin this past week. Lin is one of a few Asian-Americans to play in the NBA.
Well it looks like just with "Tebowing" people are registering "Linsanity" domains.
Linsanity.com has been under privacy and registered since 2010. This week a bunch of extensions got registered. Funny thing about the .com its been registered and dropped 5 times.
Linsanity.net/org/us/me/tv/asia/info/biz/cc and even Linsanity.mobi. All were registered this week.
Well Mr. Lin now has some pressure on him not just from Knicks fans but from domainers too.
Best of luck Jeremy.
How much would a premium Jeremy domain name be worth today?
