5L.com names are starting to heat up, I have to say I have been surprised by the amount some have regged. Reading posts on Namepros some members are in the 500 to 1500 range. That is a big bet and I hope it pays off, the frenzy around all these buyouts and Chinese buying habits has made things exciting and hectic, if you are not on top of things stuff moves pretty quick. I know I was looking at one 4L.org it was SHPK, and I thought should I buy this just for fun ? I passed, and the next day the 4L.org Chip buyout was complete, starting with SH for Shanghai I could have flipped that pretty easy for a hundred or two, that is not an investing strategy, it would have just been picking up $100 or $200 off the street.
There are a couple things that might help your 5L.com investment strategy, one is the Google Pinyin translator, whether these translations are 100% accurate has not been confirmed yet, some say they are way off while others say they are in the ballpark. Use the following link https://translate.google.com/#zh-CN/en/
Another helpful piece of data has been put together by DomainVP, he translated 500,000 domains and provided a download to the list. He also posted on Namepros and it might be helpful to follow the conversation there as he has made a couple updates.
ChineseTools.eu is another website that has some tools to help you with Pinyin and translations.
