This post is a very simple post with just one question, as a reader of domain blogs, day in and day out, what do you want ? What would you like to see covered that is not covered, not just on TLDinvestors.com but the blogosphere as a whole.? What would you like to see less of ?
Leave a comment and state your preferences ?
*please be domain related, not I would like pics of a celebrity or something of a more risque nature

I’m launching a blog and would like to do a text interview with Raymond Hackney.
Aaron Strong says
Congrats Joseph!..That is great news!….As for the topic question. I would like to see Mark H. from DomainPicks.com to start blogging again.
Raymond Hackney says
Oh good luck Joseph, sure email me.
PX says
Less ngtld propaganda. Stick to the facts.
Raymond Hackney says

A daily report of YOUR SELECTED interesting top sales. Don’t stop here. Add your take on why a certain domain name was sold for more than another. For example, why was SReam.com sold for 107k but same length BodyX.com only 45K, both by Frank Schilling? We probably don’t know the true reasons, but at least we can look at things that may contribute to the desirability of a particular domain name. For example, I look at the number of extensions sharing the same name, history of use of the domain name. What else do you look at?
Raymond Hackney says
I started doing something like that on Namepros looking at Sedo, your idea is a good idea.

More talk about personal business, specifically recent sales and acquisitions on a consistent monthly business. Those types of articles are always very interesting.
Howie says
The interconnections between business and domaining. That’s what I’ve just started to do on my new blog.
Raymond Hackney says
Good luck on the new blog Howie.

Possibly some stories about domainers taking the plunge and starting sites, did it work out or not? What should others avoid when trying this for the first time. Maybe a once weekly inclusion would be good. After all no-one is really doing well off parking … so I constantly read

Bloggers who talk about selling names but never say the names they sell. I don’t think they actually sell very many but that doesn’t matter because they are in business to get newbies to click on their advertisements.
Those who are going to preach about domaining need to start showing some sales.
Raymond Hackney says
I don’t know if they are in business to get new domainers to click advertisements, no one is paid on CPC model.
When I have them I try to report, I never sign NDA’s occasionally someone asks to not report the price. I actually have a couple to discuss so I will do a post.
Mike Berkens tweets his, I usually blog about them, Elliot is usually very private and does not report prices.
I think OnlineDomain and Acro post their sales so it is not like everyone doesn’t.
Look the flipside Todd, and trust me I get where you are coming from because I do think they are interesting posts, but some have gotten flack for posting sales as people thought they were bragging about their success.
Sales are one part the relationship to the size of the portfolio is another. 100 name and 10 sales vs 6000 names and 25 sales etc…
todd says
Just to be clear my words weren’t directed at you. I know you do post sales but there are many others that talk the big talk but post a sale once in a blue moon. After this Adam Dicker bullshit I think those that want to talk big need to be transparent. They shouldn’t run their mouth about all these so called sales but I can’t tell you because it’s in NDA. What a line of BS. Every sale is an NDA? Come on! These are low 4 figure sales but no the buyer doesn’t want them tell anybody. LOL

I would like to see bloggers HELPING the efforts someone is doing in Europe to raise the attention on domaining among companies, mktg and sales managers in particular, with a particular focus on Spanish, German, Italian, French, Polish etc markets. We know very well how all the European markets in languages other than English have been always neglected………
