Mike Berkens picked up the best domain imo in the .dating extension. He announced on Twitter that he picked up the name on EAP day 1, so that makes this a five figure pick up.
I registered the one and only category defining term for the new gTLD .Dating today http://t.co/3uK5RntUJ8 on day one of EAP #domains

Wow Mike has some big grapes good luck on that one Mikey.
Acro says
Will he buy Dating.Online also? 😀
Raymond Hackney says
That’s a good point Theo.

The domain dating.online is NA, and if it was available it would be $10K or so per year+++
Much more searches for online.dating than dating.online & outside of the one time cost the renewal fee is low.
Also been in touch with the owner of onlinedating.com if you have interest bring me an offer of $x,xxx, xxx and I can get you a price, otherwise he has no interest
Acro says
My point is, careful with domains that their keyword can be the TLD and vice versa; there’s enough competition from the matching pair .com.
Dayne says
Solid solid domain name.
Mike says
What is an annual renewal cost for this premium name?
Ryan says
The renewal is $1,000 per year
James says
Yes, the owner of onlinedating.com must be ranking in the dough with that 1.0 website template that was included with his dotcombuilder membership…
Ron says
the retail is $1.2K on renewal, but a discount account can reduce this by 15-20%
Giles says
Nice name, well done Mike
Doron Vermaat says
It’s a nice name but pretty much all successful dating sites choose a brand name over a generic exact match these days.
Snoopy says
Huge term but I think it is clunky as a domain, it is the style of domain that would have been more likely to get a big price 10 years ago versus today.
