Jerusalem.com is a visually stunning website. The site provides a 3D look through the Holy City and much, much more.
The domain is owned and developed by Igal Lichtman/Mrs Jello.
The domain was purchased in 2010 for $510,000
The site offers hd pictures and hd videos that are just spectacular. The site claims to offer the only accurate map of the Holy City.
The site offers a 3D tour or you can choose a video tour with your host Joel Simhony.
The map is truly incredible and detailed. You will feel like you are there.
The site also provides the opportunity to get your own @jerusalem.com email address.

When people say domainers never develop anything worthwhile or more than mini sites just send them to Jerusalem.com
Troy says
But are they making money with it?
Susan says
Absolutely incredible…thanks for sharing.
PS Happy Birthday
Tres says
It looks like a video game, way cool
Wickford says
@troy Money ? from everything I have read about lichtman 500k is a drop in the bucket. To be able to own this name and develop it the way he has is much more valuable than money. Domainers need to learn there is a lot more than money that gives joy and purpose.
Troy says
Wickford,
Understood. There are certainly things in this world worth much more than money.
Steve says
That’s definitely a great site. I would argue that if a domainer can get passionate about a domain/website, they should definitely build it out. But when someone tries to force it many times you can end up with a less than desirable site.
Deano says
I tend to agree with Troy, the site is spectacular but how do you make money with it ?
Acro says
Need to read DomainGang more often 😉 Reported this 2 days ago.

RH: yeah sorry Theo article was written last week and not published, Igal emailed me about the app and then included that. I have been chatting with Igal about site almost since inception. I usually read Acro.net daily and not domaingang daily. Thanks for the comment.
Anticareer.com says
The site looks amazing. To drop $500k and then to have a high quality site like that developed is quite a large investment.
There’s no ads that I saw (only glanced it the site for 5 minutes) but he is trying to sell email addresses. If done as a monetary investment I don’t see the return there in its current state.
Adam says
I missed it on DomainGang too and not sure why that would be on a parody site. Anyway its an incredible looking site that shows what you can do with high end development.
Orangelo says
So he’s a domainer who develops. So in this case he’s a developer, not a domainer. Big difference, IMO.
That’s like saying he’s an artist fixed a car’s transmission. The two fields have a distinct set of knowledge to do each right. They are not the same and they don’t even overlap.
Wickford says
Orangelo was that English ? Igal is certainly one of the biggest and best domainers on the planet and also developed an incredible site. He is both.

I am lucky to say that mrsjello is one of my parking clients, and that he truely knows what he is doing. I am sure Jerusalem.com will make tons of money…as it becomes the authority on the subject.
Thanks,
Ben
